The two fall in love by accident over a phone sex line and then have to decide whether to meet in person. Helen Hunt's husband is played by Seinfeld's Jason Alexander, and Anthony Edwards' best friend is played by Maggie Wheeler - Janice on Friends. The film is an "R" rated love story that explores a seemingly seedy subject from a surprisingly touching angle.
